We are currently looking for a local talented and motivated Business Development Representative with experience selling Websites, Web Applications, and Digital Marketing services to join our growing and dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and energetic individual that can contribute to the sales and marketing teams, work in a dynamic environment, deliver strategic messaging and product feedback into the marketing and product organization, and work proactively to drive overall sales performance.
Primary responsibilities:
- Create Demand.
The BDR should identify members of our target audience and leverage our existing messaging that will motivate them to start a conversation. The BDR will strategize, educate and develop prospects toward a purchase decision, engage through direct contact, email, social media, chat, outbound phone calls using qualification and consultative sales skills, present options that will drive prospects’ success through CC services, collaborating with CC’s SDRs and Strategists to generate new opportunities. - Qualify Leads.
The BDR should qualify prospects and nurture them by educating and developing the relationship for the purpose of selling services specific to the prospect’s needs, drive attendance for webinars and live seminars, and ensure successful process of the sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity in the CRM for monitoring success rates. You would also receive leads generated by our internal marketing efforts. - Pitch and Close.
The BDR should be able to present CC’s services in a winsome way, establishing ongoing relationships with prospects and clients, and build, track, and report on KPIs and success metrics for the success of CC’s sales efforts so that we can continuously adjust for improved performance.
Requirements:
- 2+ year(s) of successful experience in a similar role.
- Strong experience with selling in the digital marketing space.
- Professional communication skills – listening, speaking, writing, presenting.
- Proven business development success through effective use of marketing and sales tools and CRMs, understanding SEO, traffic and conversion metrics.
- Proficiency in the major social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.) and a strong desire to assess new platforms.
- Aptitude to manage numerous opportunities concurrently.
- Positive can-do attitude and demonstrated ability to deal with rejection. That’s just the nature of business development.
- Ability to develop rapport, influence others, and maintain strong relationships. Great follow-up skills.
- Determination, persistence, and self-motivation to succeed.
- Flexibility to adjust to methods and messages that are working best.
- Courage to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require. Is something broken? Let’s collaborate and fix it.
- Working hours Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm ET.
The BDR will report weekly on activities and stay thoroughly informed on all products and marketing and technology industries in general.
Compensation:
- Ramp-down base, to allow you time to ramp up commissions
- OTE Base + Commission of six figures in Year 1 and $175,000/yr by end of Year 2 if you hit sales goals. We have other team members hitting these goals successfully. Earn commission for every dollar of revenue you generate, with no caps: project, upsell or recurring services, with tiered Commission rate: the more you sell, the higher your Commission (5%-10%)
