VRS works to assist individuals who are blind or visually impaired, providing practical tools and techniques to allow their clients to function independently throughout their daily activities.

VRS needed help with an improved public-facing website for their annual fundraising event, Spooktacular Chase, a 1k/5k/10k race occurring each year around the Halloween weekend to raise funds for the VRS program.

VRS also needed a way to engage clients, instructors, and employers in a way that was easy to use for consumers with vision impairment.

We helped VRS by developing:

• A public-facing website to provide information and registration to race participants, volunteers, and sponsors.
• A public-facing website to provide information on offerings by the VRS organization.
• A secure portal used by administrative staff, vision impaired clients, course instructors, and employers in a type of Jobs Portal that enabled interaction in an environment that was easy to use for all involved, visual impairment or not.
