Make Your Content Something to “Sneeze” At

In our business blogging and social media series, we frequently mention ways to create engaging content and how to bring (and keep) traffic to your site. Of course having dynamic content is the first and most important step. Of course, without a captive audience, that dynamic content is… well… to be blunt, kind of useless.
We’ve found a great article on how to cast your audience net just a little wider by making your content something to “sneeze” at. Our friends at CopyBlogger have a list of strategies to do just that!
In our series, we suggested the use of guest bloggers, case studies, etc. to boost your content. CopyBlogger takes it a step further by urging you to find the “Sneezers.”

“…if you put your content out there and some members of your target audience happen to see it and enjoy it — fine and good. But the people you really want to seek out in the beginning are the ones who can spread the word. A Sneezer is someone who spreads an idea — and that’s who you want promoting your amazing content.”

In other words, find the power-houses in your industry who actively engage in the digital space to read and regurgitate your content.

“Every niche has its powerful and promiscuous sneezers — you just have to identify them, and get your content in front of them.”
