We are aware that some clients have recently received fraudulent emails from Gmail addresses impersonating our company. We are actively investigating these incidents and have taken steps to prevent further impersonation attempts.
All official communications from Code Conspirators are sent exclusively from addresses ending in @codeconspirators.com.
We will never send invoices, payment requests, password resets, or other sensitive communications from Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Hotmail, or any other free or third-party email service.
Treat any email with heightened suspicion if it exhibits one or more of the following characteristics:
▲Sent from a Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, or other non-company address
▲Requests changes to payment details, banking information, or gift card purchases
▲Asks for passwords, login credentials, or confidential data
▲Contains unexpected links or attachments you were not anticipating
▲Uses urgent, threatening, or high-pressure language to prompt immediate action
– Do not engage.
– Do not reply, click any links, open attachments, or follow any instructions contained in a suspicious email.
Do this instead:
– Contact us directly using your usual contact details, or forward the suspicious email to help@codeconspirators.com so our team can review it and take necessary action.
Protecting our clients is a responsibility we take seriously. We are actively investigating known impersonation attempts and continue to implement preventive measures to safeguard our communications.
When in doubt, always verify directly with our team before acting on any email requesting sensitive information or urgent financial action.
